How to convert DVD to Flash, SWF, FLV on mac with DVD to Flash/FLV/SWF converter for mac?

After download the converter, double click its icon to launch it. Click the "DVD Load" button on the top and choose the DVD you have inserted into DVD slot. Then it will pop up a "DVD Loader" window listing all movies from DVD. You can just select titles or chapter you want to convert.

 

1. Do audio and video settings
Go to "the Step1 of Customize" window, according to your wish to set audio sample rate, channels, encoder, bitrate and video width, height, encode, bitrate and frame rate.

2.Select a output format
Click "Next" button. Four choices for you to choose as a output format: "Generate FLV" and"Generate SWF-->Embed the video in SWF and play in timeline" and "Generate SWF-->Play the created external FLV file progressively" and "Generate HTML" and "Generate thumbnail".



Tips:You must choose either Generate FLV or Generate SWF or both. If you haven't check Generate SWF, you can't choose Generate HTML and if you haven't choose Generate FLV, you can't choose Generate SWF-->Play the created external FLV file progressively. If you choose Generate SWF-->Play the created external FLV file progressively, Generate thumbnail is selected automatically.

3.Add flash player, special effect and preloader
Select a cool flash player, compelling special effect, preloader template to flash video. And add text or image as watermark and embed clickable URL to flash video.

Select two or more DVD title or chapter and click "Merge" button. And then select two or more DVD movies, click "Slide" button. The newly merged and slided movies will be listed in the information window.

 

Tips: The "Slide" will be valid only when you choose two or more source files or newly made slide shows.
The "Clip" and "Edit" will be invalid when you choose the newly made slide or more than two source files.

Click "Clip" button and drag the sliders under the preview window to set the start and end time. And you can clip a video clip as many times as you want.

 

1.Cropping DVD
Click "Edit" button to open the cropping window. Drag the dotted lines to set the cropping values to remove the unwanted area, like black bars.

2.Adding effect
Hit the "Effect" tab to effect panel. Adjust the video brightness, contrast and saturation.

Once the above work has been done, only one step remains: click "Start" button to get dvd to flash(FLV/SWF) converter started on mac. You can preview the output video on the preview window.
